ENDLESS DISSECTION – STIFF NECK

Adapted from the visual novel Stiff Neck, this picture book explores loneliness and emotional exhaustion within intimate relationships. Social expectations and emotional dependence draw the protagonist toward a marriage she does not truly want. The separate staircases echo the text’s portrayal of love as a bond that can leave people entangled and wounded without bringing them closer. Though they share love, each remains trapped on their own staircase, unable to bridge the distance.
