THE PERFECT FIT – STIFF NECK

Adapted from the visual novel Stiff Neck, this picture book explores loneliness and emotional exhaustion within intimate relationships. The golden spiral extending from the wedding dress represents society’s ideal of a “perfect” marriage, drawing the protagonist toward a life she does not truly desire. Translucent tulle, described as tissues soaked with water, becomes a metaphor for the emotional weight beneath this ideal, as her heart sinks under its expectations.
